I went to the doctor yesterday for my 16 week checkup. Everything apparently looks good. The doctor listened to the heartbeat, and based on that, he is predicting a boy. He said he is right about 50% of the time. Lily, however, is convinced that it is a girl. She is constantly talking about how "she" is doing and telling me how she is going to have a sister. Kids say the cutest things:
Lily came with Matt and me to the doctor yesterday. We told her we were going to go see how the baby was doing. While we were there, she told the doctor she was going to hold the baby. After they got home, Lily told Matt that she thought the doctor was going to take the baby out of my tummy, and she would get to hold her for a minute while they checked on how she was doing. I guess she was pretty disappointed when she found out she would have to wait a little longer to see her "sister."
